Kentucky reports 361 new COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky has reported 361 new coronavirus cases and 12 more virus-related deaths. The latest report Wednesday comes as the number of Kentuckians vaccinated against COVID-19 approaches 2.1 million. The statewide rate of positive cases was down slightly at 2.06%. Gov. Andy Beshear says the number of Kentuckians receiving at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine has surpassed 2,094,000. Beshear recently announced the state is offering $1 million prizes and college scholarships in hopes of enticing more people to get the shots. The offer is available to Kentuckians already vaccinated and those who decide to get the vaccine before the drawings.
