LAS VEGAS (AP) — Devin Haney defended his WBC world lightweight title with a unanimous decision over former three-weight champion Jorge Linares. Haney won 116-112, 116-112, 115-113 on the judges’ scorecards. The 22-year-old Haney dominated the first seven rounds and weathered a late surge by Linares, who staggered the 135-pound champion at the end of the 10th round in the 12-round bout.
