Floyd girlfriend seeks ‘evening of nonviolence’ in Minnesota
George Floyd’s girlfriend is calling for an “evening of nonviolence” in Minneapolis after a judge sentenced a former police officer to 22 1/2 years in prison for Floyd’s murder. Courteney Ross said Floyd “will always be mine, he will always be the love of my life.” She said that she was praying for a “nonviolent evening” Friday in Minneapolis. “You can still fight. Come with us.”
