Djokovic pulls out of Miami Open, citing virus restrictions

MIAMI (AP) — Top-ranked Novak Djokovic has pulled out of the upcoming Miami Open, joining Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer on the sideline. Djokovic says that with the current coronavirus restrictions he needs to find balance in his time on tour and at home. The tournament begins Tuesday with only 750 fans allowed on the grounds per session. Nadal pulled out Tuesday citing a bad back that bothered him during the Australian Open. Federer is mounting a comeback from knee surgery and withdrew March 1.
