Humane society holding drive-in movie fundraiser

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local humane society is raising money to help give its dogs and cats a chance to fulfill their purpose.

The Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society is teaming up with the Franklin Drive-in movie theater to host a fundraiser for the shelter.

After a major fundraising event was canceled due to COVID-19, the shelter is getting creative.

The drive-in will play the film, ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ on Wednesday, July 29.

Doors open at 7 pm and the movie begins at 8:30 pm.

The money raised from this fundraiser will go to the shelter to help pay for taking care of the animals.

Tickets are $30 per car.

At the movie, the shelter will also be selling shirts with the proceeds also go right back to the shelter.
