Hilltoppers DE DeAngelo Malone Returning for Senior Year

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The reigning Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year is returning to The Hill for one more ride.

On Sunday evening, Hilltoppers’ Defensive End DeAngelo Malone announced via his Twitter account that he would be returning for his senior season at Western Kentucky and forego the 2020 NFL Draft.

In 2019, Malone totaled 100 tackles, with 55 solo tackles, 11.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Via his twitter account, Malone cited “unfinished business” and said there is “more to accomplish” as his reasoning for returning to Western Kentucky in 2020.
