Hilltopper Basketball to compete in 2026 Greenbrier Tip-Off

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. — Matchups for the River Division of the 2026 Greenbrier Tip-Off were announced on Thursday by Intersport. WKU Hilltopper Basketball will face Richmond on Friday, Nov. 20 and George Washington on Sunday, Nov. 22.

The Greenbrier Tip-Off River Division includes George Washington, Liberty, Rhode Island, Richmond, UAB and WKU. Each team will play two games as part of the Tip-Off schedule on Nov. 20 and 22 inside Colonial Hall at The Greenbrier.

Broadcast designations will be announced at a later date.

WKU is 1-0 all-time against George Washington, defeating the Revolutionaries 73-48 at the NABC Classic in Lexington, Kentucky, during the 2001-02 season. The matchup with Richmond will be the first in program history for the Hilltoppers.
