Gov. Beshear signs bill into law allowing 18-year-olds to serve alcohol under supervision

FRANKFORT, Ky. – On Thursday, Gov. Andy Beshear signed legislation into law that will allow 18-year-olds to serve alcohol to address staffing needs in the state, according to a release.

The release further states House Bill 252 will allow 18-year-olds to serve alcohol or work in alcohol distribution warehouses as long as they are supervised by someone at least 20 years old.
