Gov. Beshear announces 2026 Kentucky State Police Youth Academy graduates

ALBANY, Ky. – 36 young Kentuckians graduated from the Kentucky State Police Youth Academy Thursday, according to Governor Andy Beshear.
According to a release, the graduates participated in a weeklong program that inspires the “next generation of law enforcement” by creating interaction with troopers and officers. Participants learn leadership skills, fitness and law enforcement principles.
The academy was held from June 28 through July 2.
Gov. Beshear says programs provided instruction on core values and ethics in law enforcement, collaboration and hands-on demonstration of forensic investigation.
The KSP Youth Academy Class 3 graduates include the following second-year and first-year recruits:
