Glory Baby Ministry partners with T.J. Samson to support grieving families

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Glory Baby Ministry is partnering with T.J. Samson Community Hospital to offer burial and memorial packages to the hospital’s Labor & Delivery floor.
According to a release by the nonprofit, the packages will be available for families experiencing miscarriages, stillbirth or infant loss.
“This partnership is an incredible blessing to our ministry, our board of directors and the grieving families,” said [Founder/Executive Director Jessica Heffinger]. “It has brought healing in ways we did not anticipate and affirms the importance of meeting families with care in their moment of greatest need.”
For those invovled with the nonprofit, the release says the partnership carries a deep personal meaning.
According to Glory Baby Ministry, entering a Labor & Delivery floor can bring a flood of emotions, as it is the same environment where the ministry’s founder delivered a 21-week stillborn.
The nonprofit says these memories are heavy, but the collaboration brings meaningful healing through knowing that comfort, compassion and resources wil be available to families walking a similar path.
“To the families who receive these packages, you are seen, you are loved and you are not alone,” the ministry stated.
Glory Baby Ministry says it also extends sincere gratitude to the T.J. Samson staff for their compassion and commitment to supporting bereaved families. Through this partnership, the ministry says hospital staff will “play a vital role in helping bring closure, healing and comfort to parents navigating unimaginable loss.”
