Glasgow police officers respond to injury accident involving juvenile

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department responded to an injury accident involving a juvenile on Saturday.

According to Major Terry Flatt, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and West Main Street to a reported crash.

Flatt says the department’s preliminary investigation shows that a car driven by a juvenile was traveling west on West Main Street and attempted to make a left turn onto Veterans Outer Loop.

The vehicle collided with an SUV driven by Erica Dewitt. The SUV was traveling east on West Main Street.

Flatt says Dewitt and a passenger, Mary Guerrero, who was a passenger in the juvenile’s car, were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The extent of injuries has not been released.
