Franklin man arrested following alleged brick throwing, road rage incidents

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Franklin man was arrested after an alleged road rage incident in Allen County.
According to court documents, the Scottsville Police Department responded to a property damage complaint on April 7.
An officer says he met with a witness at the 700 block of East Main Street who said he was driving west on Moncrief Street near an apartment complex.
The witness said the man and another male occupant of the vehicle threw big rocks or bricks from each side of the vehicle, causing damage to the witness’s vehicle.
The witness left the scene and called the police.
Officers say they went to the apartment complex and were unable to locate the men.
The witness told the officers that 39-year-old Eric Honshell, of Franklin. The witness said he knows Honshell.
On April 8, the Scottsville Police Department responded to an alleged road rage incident on Veterans Memorial Highway.
Witnesses told police that two vehicles were traveling east toward Bowling Green when one of the vehicles attempted to run the other off the roadway.
When officers arrived, they were unable to locate the vehicles.
Officers say the witness from the April 7 incident contacted them to receive a report on the alleged road rage incident. The witness told police he was operating one of the vehicles.
On April 15, a complaint warrant was issued for Honshell.
According to a uniform citation. Kentucky State Police executed the complaint warrant and arrested Honshell on April 28.
Honshell is charged with first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree wanton endangerment. He was lodged at the Allen County Detention Center.
The second suspect in the brick-throwing incident on April 7 has not been identified.
The investigation is ongoing.
