Four found dead in Ohio County
BEAVER DAM, Ky. – Police in Ohio County are working to find out what happened after four bodies were found at a farm.
Wednesday afternoon, police were called to a home of U.S. 62 W of Beaver Dam after receiving a call that there were two dead men and a dead woman lying in the driveway.
When police arrived, they noticed a barn was on fire on the property as well.
After the fire department put the fire out, police were unable to search the rubble until Thursday morning because of the heat.
When the charred remains of the barn cooled down, police began sifting through the ashes and found another body in the debris.
The gender of the person found in the barn is unknown and so far, no names have been released.
Kentucky State Trooper Corey King says police are still not exactly sure what occurred at the residence but are in the process of investigating the scene.
According to King, the property holds several chickens that supply Tyson Foods and trucks are on their way to pick up the animals since no one can care for them now.
