Former Park City mental health counselor sentenced in relation to child exploitation
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A former Park City mental health counselor has been sentenced in connection to child sexual exploitation materials.
According to the United States Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky, Carl Anthony Puleo, 55, was sentenced Friday for one count each of receiving, distributing and possessing child sexual exploitation materials.
Officials say as part of an investigation, a HSI agent downloaded child sexual exploitation materials from Puleo using a file sharing network.
According to court documents, Puleo was sentenced to eight years and four months in prison, followed by a 10-year term of supervised release.
Puleo has also been ordered to pay $15,000 in restitution.
