Fight Night brings boxing fans back to Lampkin Park

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — We had a whole slew of events take place this weekend including the return of one that was sure to be a knockout.

Friday night at Lampkin Park, one Western Kentucky University fraternity rejoiced with the return of their annual fundraiser.

After not having the event for two years due to COVID, boxing fans swarmed to Lampkin Park for the return of Sigma Chi’s Fight Night.

The night had 10 different bouts including a match with the number one boxer in the state, Ebenezer “Stuntman” Griffith.

All proceeds from the night went to the Huntsman Cancer Institute for research.
