FEMA will begin offering rental assistance to those impacted by tornadoes

Because of the increased rental prices, FEMA is going to provide 125% of the rental rates in order to get people back into rental properties.

But the bigger problem that Warren County Judge Executive Mike Buchanon points out is the available places to rent… which is not many.

“Unfortunately we don’t have much of any rental property available right now. But we are trying very hard to get them back into a situation where they can call something home again for a while,” said Buchanon.

The deadline to register is February 11th and is approaching fast.
