Father-daughter team race to find long-lost relatives on national TV
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-A man who grew up in Bowling Green with adoptive parents is on a mission to find his biological mom.
“She was a young woman who gave me up for adoption and I just didn’t know if there was any regret that she might have had,” said Scott Bradley.
And his mission will be broadcasted on national television.
“You’re off, you’re racing across the country, I have my daughter Hannah beside me, we’re trying to find all these different people that we’ve never met before in all these different cities across the United States,” said Bradley.
Scott is joined by his daughter Hannah, on a 10-day trip to meet relatives on the show ‘Relative Race’.
“I’ve always known that my dad was adopted and there’s always half of me biologically I didn’t know anything about. So my natural curiosity, everyone wants to know who they look like, where does my family come from,” said Hannah Bradley.
After meeting brothers, cousins, uncles and more, he’s hoping to find his mom at the end of the journey.
He was born in St. Louis. Once adopted, his family moved to Bowling Green and he grew up in our community. He hopes the show sheds more light on those who have been adopted
“My mom and dad for as long as I can remember, said they chose me, that they picked me, and that has made a tremendous impact on my life and I would encourage others who adopted to be that open and communicative,” said Bradley.
And if you’re wondering if he found his biological mom?
“You’ll have to watch to the end to find out,” said Bradley.
