Empty the Shelters coming up this Saturday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This weekend the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society will be partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation for empty the shelters.

BISSELL Pet Foundation is working with 121 locations participating across the country, eight of which are in Kentucky.

All pet adoptions will be $25 on Saturday and as always include Micro-chipping, spay or neuter, the first round of shots, a month of flea and tick prevention, heart-worm prevention and more.

This is the second Empty the Shelters the BGWC Humane Society has participated in, and employees are hoping to beat their number of adoptions from the first time adopting out over 50 pets.

The Humane Society currently has around 200 animals including dogs, cats, rats and bunnies.

This weekend the shelter will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and this discounted price event lasts only one day.
