BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – County road aid emergency funds are being awarded to Logan County for a drainage repair project, officials say.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the county will receive $62,300 for the repair project on Homer Insco Road.

Transportation officials say the repairs will make travel safer for drivers, pedestrians, school buses and other vehicles that rely on the road.

“The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Carter County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community,” said Transportation Secretary Rebecca Goodman.

The Logan County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work, transportation officials say.
