Edmonson County tourism generates $16.5 million in economic impact

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – A recent economic report says tourism is thriving in Edmonson County.

According to the Edmonson County Tourism Commission, the 2025 Economic Impact report states the county’s tourism brought in $16.5 million in economic impact.

This contributed to the total $14.6 billion generated in the Commonwealth, the tourism commission states.

According to the tourism commission, this makes 2025 the “best year ever for Kentucky Tourism, scoring four straight record years for economic impact.”

The organization says this highlights the importance of supporting local businesses and attractions.
