Dundee Fire Department treasurer allegedly stole thousands from agency

DUNDEE, Ky. – The Dundee Fire Department treasurer is behind bars after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the agency.

That’s according to a report by K105, which says the Kentucky State Police confirmed 48-year-old Amanda Sipla of Hartford was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

K105 further states she was charged with theft by unlawful taking (over $10,000, less than $1 million), theft by deception ($10,000 or more) and abuse of public trust (more than $10,000, less than $100,000).

Sipla remains at the Ohio County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
