Dugas Community Park launches Summer Nights Music Series

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Dugas Community Park is introducing a new outdoor concert series for the summer.

The park recently announced its 2026 “Summer Nights” music series, a free monthly event featuring live music, food trucks and family-friendly entertainment.

Concerts will take place from May through August at the park’s amphitheater, giving guests a chance to enjoy live performances in an outdoor setting.

Organizers say the series was created to bring more people to the park while giving the community a new way to gather and relax during the summer months.

“We feel like we have a hidden gem here, and we want to make it not so hidden,” said Shannon Weaver, executive director of Dugas Community Park. “Everybody loves music outside, and we think this is a great way to showcase our park and everything it has to offer.”

Country musician Chandler Brown will kick off the series Thursday night at 6 p.m.

Additional performers include Rick Faris in June, and Flat Rock Ramblers later this summer. Organizers say an August headliner will be announced at a later date.
