Donations raised for local officer with cancer
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hundreds of community members, law enforcement, and elected officials showing their support and love for a local police officer Wednesday.
At Wednesday’s luncheon, which took place at the Bowling Green Police Department, monetary donations were collected that will go to Officer Ed Pulley and his family to ease the stress of medical and travel expenses.
Pulley is battling stage 3 neuroendocrine cancer.
Due to treatment, Pulley could not be in attendance.
Different kinds of chili were served, made by officers and local businesses.
The lunch itself was free, but the department collected donations at the door.
Pulley is the father of 4 girls. His youngest is 9 months and his oldest is 15 years old.
