Corvette once owned by Michael Jordan rolls into the National Corvette Museum
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The National Corvette Museum (NCM) announced the addition of Michael Jordan’s 1993 Corvette ZR-1 to its Pop Culture and Corvette Exhibition on Thursday.
The 1993 Corvette ZR-1 was featured in ESPN’s 2020 miniseries “The Last Dance” in episode 8. Jordan can be seen emerging from the Corvette following his “I’m Back” fax announcement, marking his return to the NBA.
The model represented peak performance for its time, and this example carries the 40th Anniversary Package, offered as RPO Z25 on 1993 Corvette models, according to the National Corvette Museum.
The package features Ruby Red paint, sport seats, and a Chicago Bulls-themed license plate.
Michael Jordan’s former Corvette can now be viewed as a part of NCM’s “Pop Culture and Corvette: An American Love Affair” exhibition. It will be on exhibit until Spring 2027
