Compton named Munfordville Elementary principal

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. – Hart County Schools announced a new principal this week.

Will Compton has been named principal of Munfordville Elementary School.

Compton began his career in education as a 5th grade math and science teacher at Lost River Elementary School in 2002.

Compton recently served as assistant principal at Highland Elementary in Glasgow for five years after spending four years as a math teacher at Red Cross Elementary in Barren County.

“I can’t wait to get started at Munfordville Elementary,” Compton told WNKY News 40. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve as a principal in the Hart County School System.”

Compton will begin as principal of Munfordville Elementary this month.
