Commissioner Quarles makes appointments to boards, commissions
Appointments are for terms expiring in 2025

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles has made the following appointments to boards and commissions:
Commissioner Quarles appointed Michael Peterson and reappoints Fritz Giesecke to the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board.
- Michael Peterson, of Nancy, is a farmer and the president of KNS, Inc. Animal Nutrition. Peterson shall represent active farmers and will serve for a term expiring July 6, 2025.
- Fritz Giesecke, of Horse Cave, is a farmer. Mr. Giesecke shall represent the Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation and will serve for a term expiring July 6, 2025.
Commissioner Quarles made the following reappointments to the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation.
- Frank Penn, of Lexington, is a farmer. Penn shall represent equine farmers and will serve for a term expiring June 26, 2025.
- Larry Brown Jaggers, of Glendale, is a farmer. Jaggers shall represent dairy farmers and will serve for a term expiring June 26, 2025.
- Kenneth Burdine, of Nicholasville, is an agricultural economist at the University of Kentucky. Burdine shall represent agricultural economists and will serve for a term expiring June 26, 2025.
- Linda Rumpke, of Bardstown, is a banker. Rumpke shall represent commercial lending officers and will serve for a term expiring June 26, 2025.
