City of Bowling Green reports sinkhole collapse

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The City of Bowling Green Public Works is responding to a sinkhole collapse.

Director Andy Souza says a reported sinkhole at the intersection of Kiwanis Drive and Shawnee Way collapsed Tuesday.

Souza says a water line is damaged.

Kiwanis Drive will be closed until further notice as crews make repairs. Shawnee Way remains open.

Souza asks motorists to find alternative routes.
