Cave City Fire Department responds to house fire on Wilson Road

CAVE CITY, Ky. – The Cave City Fire Department (CCFD) responded to a structure fire Tuesday evening.

According to CCFD, crews were dispatched to reports of a house fire on 400 Wilson Road at approximately 5:42 pm

Firefighters located heavy smoke and an active fire in the roof and eaves of the home. CCFD says crews attacked the fire for several hours and prevented its spread.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Park City Fire Department, Hiseville Fire Department, Glasgow Fire Department, Barren-Metcalfe EMS (BMEMS), and the Barren County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) assisted the Cave City Fire Department.
