Carriage House Vineyards prepares for first festival
Tucked away in Auburn, Kentucky is Carriage House Vineyards.
That’s where the co-owner and his wife are gathering their harvest.
It’s because they’ve been asked to lead the charge on an event.
Since it’s their first time, it’s an even greater honor for them and their vineyard.
Carriage House Vineyards is one of many helping keep the tradition of great wines alive.
That’s why the Chamber of Commerce Board for Logan County came to them with their idea for the first Wine and Food Festival.
Due to their experience attending festivals of this kind, the co-owners were asked to co-chair and establish the festival in Auburn.
So far five wineries and three food trucks are committed to being at this festival.
Also, The Big Nancy Band will be the entertainment.
For Don Davis and his wife Lisa to lead the charge and showcase their wine to others is a privilege they’re proud to be a part of.
This good time will be on September 29th and will be held at the Auburn Square downtown.
It will take place from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Until then Carriage House Vineyards offers yoga and wine on their property.
If you’re looking to tie the knot next summer they just built a wooden altar for weddings.
