Car crashes through Bowling Green restaurant

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Saturday afternoon around 1:00p.m., a car crashed into Lisa’s Fifth Street Diner in Bowling Green.

Owner Cliff Parker said that a customer has just gotten up from the table right next to the wall to pay for her meal, and only a few seconds later a car drove through the building where she sat. 

Parker came to see what was going on. He said an elderly woman was sitting in the car, shaken, saying her brakes stopped working – touching  all the way to the floor of the car. 

Parker had repairs made that Saturday night and said this would in no way stop their service or upcoming plans, especially their big Thanksgiving dinner around the corner.
