Campbellsville man in critical condition following crash

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – A Campbellsville man is in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash.

According to a media release, the Campbellsville Police Department responded to a crash at the intersection of East Broadway and Watertower Bypass on May 3.

CPD says a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Kern Kost, of Campbellsville, was traveling west on East Broadway.

Kost lost control of his vehicle while making a left turn onto Watertown Bypass. The vehicle crashed into a concrete embankment head-on.

CPD says Kost was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital and later flown to University of Louisville Hospital.

Kost is listed in critical condition, according to the release.

The investigation is ongoing.
