Cafe Kindness opens in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A little kindness goes a long way, and that is exactly what a new business owner in Bowling Green in hoping for.

Western Kentucky University graduate Anastasia Pendley is celebrating the opening of her new business, Cafe Kindness, on the square in Bowling Green.

Having struggled with a negative relationship with food, Pendley said that through kindness and knowledge she was able to create a healthier way of living.

“I actually had an eating disorder throughout high school and through college, the way I overcame that eating disorder was two things, through God, of course, and through food,” said Pendley. “I developed a super passionate awareness for the foods I was putting into my body and I knew I wanted to heal myself with foods that treated my body kindly.”

You can find several kinds of smoothies, juices and other healthy treats at Cafe Kindness. The cafe is open Monday through Friday near Fountain Square Park at 937 College Street.
