Bowling Green woman drowns in Barren River Lake
A Bowling Green woman drowned Monday afternoon on Barren River Lake.
According to Lt. Jeremy McQueary with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, Angela Dunagan, 50, was out boating with another individual near Narrows Marina when she died.
Lt. McQueary says the other individual is fine.
He say’s a 911 call was placed around 1:50 p.m. on reports of a possible drowning.
The Barren County Coroners Officer pronounced Dunagan deceased on the scene.
An autopsy is being performed.
