Bowling Green woman charged with cocaine possession

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Bowling Green woman is behind bars, accused of possession of cocaine.

According to an arrest citation, Bowling Green police made a traffic stop on West 10th Avenue early Wednesday morning, when an officer noticed a driver disregard a traffic stop.

The driver was later identified as Dionne Jefferson, 50.

Police say they discovered a suspected crack rock, a crack pipe, a marijuana pipe and a small baggy of marijuana inside of her purse wallet.

In addition, in her pants pocket, police say they discovered suspected crack cocaine.

Jefferson was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance-cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

She is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
