Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport manager, Rob Barnett, is leaving.
Barnett has accepted a job as the director of the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport. The new position will give him the chance to oversee a much larger airport. The airport in Owensboro has daily scheduled commercial flights to St. Louis and often has flights to Orlando, Fla. as well.
Barnett has worked at the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport for the past 23 years. He says he is looking forward to this next chapter.
“I am sad to go, but it’s a great opportunity and the timing is right for me to further my career and I look forward to it. I really do.” says Barnett.
Barnett’s last day at the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport will be on Nov. 23.
