Bowling Green leaders sign Stand for Children Day proclamation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Today, community leaders recognized the upcoming 24th annual Stand for Children Day by signing a proclamation in downtown Bowling Green.

The free event for Stand for Children Day will happen Thursday morning and will offer fun activities for kids and give parents and caregivers the opportunity to learn more about the services available for families in our community.

Bill Oldham, the executive director for community education, said, “The real reason to do it is just to enrich the lives of our children and to help them be the best they can be.”

If you are available Thursday morning, grab the kids and head down to the ballpark. The event lasts from 9 to 11 a.m.
