Bowling Green Hot Rods host Easterfest at BG Ballpark
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Hot Rods hosted Easterfest at Bowling Green Ballpark on Saturday.
Plenty of parents brought their families to the ballpark to gather hundreds of eggs and take photos with the Easter Bunny.
Three different age groups were able to go into the outfield and collect as many eggs as their baskets could fill.
For Bowling Green Hot Rods General Manager Eric Leach, Easterfest was a way to give back to the community while celebrating the holiday.
“Seeing the smiling faces and getting back to the Easter egg cones, pictures with the Easter Bunny, it’s just so rewarding and great free event that we’re able to put on,” Leach said.
The Hot Rods will be back in action Tuesday, April 19th against the Rome Braves. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
