Bittersweet celebration: Gasper Brewing celebrates last anniversary
White Squirrel gears up for grand opening this April
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This last Saturday, Gasper Brewing Company invited food trucks, local musicians, and beloved patrons across town to their second and final anniversary under its original name.
White Squirrel Brewery will acquire Gasper’s Brewing’s space at 302 State Street, aiming to become bigger and better than ever before with their combined resources.
Gasper Brewing Co.’s beloved owner & brewmaster Isaiah King says he looks forward to the near future when he’ll take on the role of White Squirrel’s brewmaster.
“We wanted one last chance as ‘Gasper’, to have everybody come out,” said King. “We’re going to put this place on the map for breweries. Bowling Green has always needed a really strong regional brewery, and that’s our goal going forward.”
White Squirrel Brewery co-owner Sean Stevens said of his new partner, “[Isaiah] is going to get to focus more on the brewing and do what he loves and is good at. And we’re just going to keep building and making this place a destination.”
The owners say you can expect the new and improved White Squirrel’s grand opening later this April.
