BGPD investigating robbery at Shell IGA Express

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department is still investigating after a robbery at an area gas station Monday night.

Police say the incident occurred at the Shell IGA Express on 2447 Russellville Road at about 10:31 p.m.

Police say two males entered the store, one brandishing a knife and demanding money.

According to police, the clerk complied before the men ran from the store to the back of the building. In addition, police say two employees and a customer left as the robbery took place.

The subjects are described as males that are around 5 five 9 inches tall with a “skinny” build.

No arrests have been made at this time and no injuries were reported, officials say.
