BGFD says 13 year-old Nyssa Brown is not just another missing person

BOWLING GREEN, Ky: At a press conference this evening, Bowling Green Fire Department Chief, Justin Brooks, says they are expanding the search to locate 13 year-old Nyssa Brown.

Nyssa is the seventh member of the Brown family that lived on Moss Creek. 36-year-old Rachel Brown, 35-year-old Steven Brown, Steven’s mother Victoria Smith their and children, Nariah, Nolynn, and Nyles were all confirmed dead as a result of Saturday’s tornadoes.

Chief Brooks says Nyssa is not just another missing person, she is “our” 13 year-old. Brooks say they will expand the search outside of the Jennings Creek area to find Nyssa. They are also asking the community to please relay any information related to this search by calling 270.393.4116.
