Beshear orders flags to half-staff to honor those lost on 9/11

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear has directed for flags at all state office building to be lowered to half-staff Monday, Sept. 11.

Beshear’s office says the tribute is to commemorate Patriot Day, as well as the National Day of Service and Remembrance and in honor of those lost in the 9/11 attacks.

All of those in the commonwealth are encouraged to participate.
