Aviation Summer Camps arrive at Bowling Green Regional Airport

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – All week long, future aviators are learning about flying at the Bowling Green Regional Airport.

The Aviation Museum of Kentucky is hosting the 2022 Aviation Summer Camps for people ages ten through adult.

Campers are learning everything from aircraft design to aviation careers.

Aviation learners also practice with flight simulators and have the chance to fly an airplane with the help of an instructor.

Emmett Blandford, an aviation camper, said, “In the morning tomorrow, I’m actually going to be flying in a C7102 with my friend.”

The camp will be going from July 11 to July 15.
