Authorities say 1-year-old dead after suffering ‘extreme neglect’ in Allen County, 2 charged

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – The Allen County Sheriff’s Office and Scottsville Police Department responded to a reported death on Cottage Drive Monday evening.

Authorities say a 1-year-old is dead.

Police arrested 22-year-old Alexandrae Price and 22-year-old Deavan Williams and charged both with first-degree criminal abuse (child 12 or under).

The child was allegedly subjected to extreme neglect and forced to live in dangerous living conditions, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing. Authorities say additional criminal charges are expected.
