Arrests made following Sunday’s shooting

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Police have provided and update to a story WNKY covered Sunday night.

An arrest has been made in the shooting that took place on Beauty Avenue Sunday afternoon.

In the incident, one man, Benjamin Blevins was shot twice while outside of his home.

A 17-year-old and Christopher Lancaster, 24, are both charged with first-degree assault attempted murder.

Both the juvenile and Lancaster along with another man, Lancaster, 22, are charged with trafficking marijuana, methamphetamine and various pills along with other charges.

Police suspect Blevins was not the intended target but said his injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
