Amy McGrath campaigns in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An event Wednesday evening gave community members an opportunity to hear from Amy McGrath and learn more about her campaign.

Attendees also had the chance to ask questions about her beliefs, priorities and the changes she says she would make if elected.

McGrath spoke about why campaigning in south-central Kentucky is important to her campaign.

“Bowling Green is very important for any campaign in Kentucky, and this region is incredibly important to our state,” McGrath said. “What I’m hearing from people here is the same thing I’m hearing across Kentucky.”

McGrath said many residents expressed concerns about rising costs and the economy.

“Folks are worried about the price of everything,” she said. “Gas prices are high, and the cost of everyday items continues to increase.”
