Allen County man indicted on charges for methamphetamine trafficking, gun possession

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A federal grand jury in Bowling Green indicted an Allen County man Wednesday on multiple charges.
According to court documents, Timothy Harrison, 40, of Scottsville possessed with the intent to distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine on March 25, 2021, in Allen County, on May 12, 2021, in Warren County and on November 17, 2021, in Allen County.
Harrison, a convicted felon, also had a Ruger, model Wrangler, .22 caliber revolver and ammunition on March 25, 2021. In addition, Harrison had a Taurus, model PT 24/7 G2, .40 caliber semiautomatic pistol and ammunition on May 12, 2021.
Harrison was charged with three counts of possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and two counts of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
The defendant is scheduled for his initial court appearance on May 25 at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. If convicted, Harrison faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison.
