Alabama man charged after alleged road rage incident in Livingston County

GRAND RIVERS, Ky. – An Alabama man is facing charges following an alleged road rage incident on Interstate 24 in Livingston County on Friday evening.
According to the Kentucky State Police, at 7:03 p.m., troopers received a call from a driver traveling westbound on I-24 in Livingston County reporting that a passenger in another vehicle traveling the same direction had pointed a gun at them through the window of the vehicle.
The caller described the truck as a dark blue pickup truck with a motorcycle in the bed, along with a license plate number, authorities say.
Troopers say they found the vehicle on U.S. 62 in Calvert City.
A traffic stop was conducted, and a handgun was discovered in the truck, troopers say.
The passenger was identified as 43-year-old Dusty D. Sharp of Boaz, Alabama, who admitted to waving the handgun out the passenger window after getting frustrated at another driver.
Sharp was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and menacing.
The investigation is ongoing.
