92-year-old tornado survivor: “Everything popped!”
(WDIV/NBC News) Lucille Warner was in the living room of her home Thursday in Siawassee County, Michigan when a tornado ripped through the neighborhood.
The 92-year-old great grandmother quickly sought shelter in her bathroom.
“I was sitting in my living room, I got up and went to the bathroom and everything popped!” she says.
Minutes later the storm was over.
“I noticed everything was gone, I looked up and the roof was gone,” Warner says.
