Search continues for missing Bowling Green man

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Emergency crews are still searching for a man with serious medical issues who has been missing since October 18.

Raif Velic, 57, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a dark ball cap, dark vest, dark track pants and gray backpack according to officials.

Velic went missing from his home at 1076 Pruitt Road in the Richardsville community over a week ago.

Officials last confirmed siting of Velic was last Wednesday on Riverside Benleo Road.

So far, officials have had some kind of search going every day since he disappeared with over 100 volunteers helping, according to Travis Puckett with the Warren County Emergency Management.

If you see Velic, you are asked to call the Kentucky State Police or the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
