Corvette Plant shuts down due to parts shortage
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green will be closing next week due to a parts supply issue.
The plant will not run production the week of Oct. 12 through Oct. 16 because of a disruption in parts supply due to COVID-19.
According to a Chevrolet spokesperson, the supply chain, manufacturing and engineering teams are working closely to mitigate any further impact on production. The plant is expected to resume normal operations on Oct. 19.
